Thank the Champions of Ocklawaha River Restoration

This year brought historic momentum for restoring the Ocklawaha River and reconnecting the Silver, Ocklawaha, and St. Johns Rivers. 

Please take a moment to thank Rep. Wyman Duggan and Sen. Jason Brodeur for championing legislation to restore this iconic river system. Their leadership helped unite communities across Florida behind a balanced path forward for river restoration and riverway communities. 

Even though the bill did not receive a final vote this year, the strong support shown during the 2026 legislative session has laid the groundwork for future success.
