Reunite the Rivers Events

Lost Springs of the Ocklawaha Paddle with Adventure Outpost | Thursday, February 5 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Ocklawaha River/Rodman Reservoir

This 4 hour (7-mile) downstream paddle will take us through a section of the Ocklawaha we rarely visit – the upper end of Rodman Reservoir. This day’s route will take us past a couple of the 20+ springs that have been lost to Rodman Reservoir. This is an easy paddle on slow, tannin-stained waters. There is plenty of water here so you won’t have to pull over any shoals or shallows.

Cost is $65 per person if you need to rent a kayak, and $50 if you bring your own boat. Shuttling will be provided from the take-out back to where your car is parked. Directions and exact start location will be provided when you sign up.

To reserve your spot, contact Lars Andersen at Adventure Outpost: (386) 497-4214.
